8th December 2006 Report

Arts and Crafts - Continued

This week at Arts and Crafts, 6 December, we had the pleasure of meeting Councillor Pat Garburt.

She accompanied us with all our activities and joined in and made a wonderful calendar. Pat also helped throughout the evening with the children while they made numerous different items. Several items were modified to make baubles, and after time, became earrings. Our whole team of committee members felt thrilled to see that our local council is taking an interest in our community.

1st December 2006 report

Arts and Crafts

On Wednesday and every following one from 22nd of November up until Christmas the Tennents and Residents Association will be holding an Arts and Crafts evening. This is were children from our community will be able to come together and create all kinds of amazing pieces of art.

If you would like to come join us it will be held at the RAF club, just over the road from the St Giles View flats starting at 6pm. We have been taking pictures of all the children and there work Click Here to see.

We send out deepest condolences to Mrs Pat Garbert, she has recently been in a car accident and is in hospital recovering. Our community has sent her some flowers and hope she get a speedy recovery. GET WELL SOON!!!
